The Würth self-checkout terminal, based on the modular POLYTOUCH® , represents the next generation of automated B2B POS systems. Together with Pyramid Computer GmbH , WürthGmbH a customized solution that enables professional tradespeople to shop around the clock, six days a week—flexibly, efficiently, and precisely tailored to the requirements of the retail stores.

Würth operates around 600 B2B sales shops in Germany. Experience shows that many professional craftsmen need their materials outside of normal opening hours. That is why selected Würth shopsallow their customers to meet their immediate needs around the clock.

For the next-generation self-checkout terminal, Würth and the Pyramid Computer GmbH have rethought the existing technology and consistently developed it further.

The starting point was a modular POLYTOUCH® that allows the use of touchscreens in portrait or landscape format and screen diagonals from 15.6" to 23.8". In addition, scanners, printers and payment solutions from numerous well-known manufacturers can be flexibly integrated.

On this basis, a customized checkout terminal was developed in close dialogue, which is precisely tailored to the requirements of the industry giant. In future, it will make Würth's wide range of products available to customers around the clock, six days a week.
