faytech^® has won major projects in the USA, Japan and China for the supply of 55" digital signage solutions for permanent outdoor and semi-outdoor use.

However, the development of outdoor solutions presented a number of challenges that had to be overcome. These included exposure to sunlight and the risk of overheating, protection against corrosion, rain and vandalism, as well as ensuring easy connection, ease of maintenance and excellent design at the same time. Our R&D resources successfully overcame the challenges in developing a durable and optimally functioning solution for outdoor use.

Our 55-inch LC display has a brightness of 2,500 cd/m², double-layer optical bonding, IK09 protection, active cooling for operation at temperatures from -25°C to +65°C.

We received a request from Sichuan Province to offer an LC display for the outdoor area of their bus stops. We were able to convince them with the demonstration of our optimized product. There is the potential to equip 200 bus stops with our 55-inch LC display, together with our outdoor LED strip type display and our outdoor LED video wall as one package.

Not only in China, but also in Japan, bus stops have been equipped with our robust 55-inch LC displays, enhancing the commuter experience with reliable, vibrant and bright digital signage.

We have also completed other projects with the outdoor displays. In the USA, faytech^®-digital signage displays have been installed in several parking garages and on construction sites as a semi-outdoor solution, further underlining our expertise with similar high-spec displays.
