We supply the market with servers and workstations for AI, industrial image processing, and visual computing. We rely on NVIDIA's AI infrastructure when configuring our systems.
Our AKHET® products are based on our proprietary VarioFlex platform and are configured with state-of-the-art GPU technologies depending on the specific application to deliver high computing power for demanding applications. Our goal is to meet the growing demand from industry, retail, and data centers for increasingly powerful hardware for data-intensive applications.
Depending on the application scenario, we offer various GPU configurations. This results in customized systems that operate reliably both in data centers and at the network edge:
In the retail sector, our VarioFlex 2U 460 platform supports AI-based video analytics for theft prevention. Multiple camera streams are processed locally and analyzed in real time. Unusual movement patterns can be automatically detected, alerting staff to potential incidents at an early stage. The VarioFlex 2U 460 supports up to four NVIDIA L4 Data Center GPUs, each with 24 GB of memory.
In the field of digital signage and media processing, our VarioFlex 5U 530 platform variant enables the use of state-of-the-art professional GPUs for rendering complex graphics, playing back high-resolution content on large-format displays, and encoding and decoding multiple video streams in real time. We offer the VarioFlex 5U 530 with an NVIDIA RTX PRO 4500 Blackwell Workstation Edition GPU featuring 32 GB of memory.
As a compact option, our VarioFlex 1U 300 platform, equipped with a workstation GPU, can serve as the foundation for image processing applications in industrial production environments. High-resolution camera data is processed with virtually no delay to perform quality inspections during ongoing manufacturing processes. This enables the reliable detection of material defects on high-speed paper webs. The VarioFlex 1U 300 is designed for integration with an NVIDIA RTX A5000 GPU featuring 24 GB of memory.
When we equip the VarioFlex 4U 350 front-I/O platform variant with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Twin Edge Creator GPU, the system can analyze complex image data during bin picking, identify randomly arranged components, and provide position data for automated gripping operations.
Our VarioFlex platform enables the rapid implementation of standardized or customized solutions. Various heights and installation depths form the basis for application-specific configurations. By combining existing base systems with custom peripherals such as CPUs, memory, I/O, and other components, along with a tailored software configuration and optional enclosure designs, we can implement even highly specialized solutions within just a few weeks.
In addition to raw computing power, we place particular emphasis on comprehensive system integration. High-performance GPU platforms place high demands on power supply, cooling, airflow, motherboard selection, and ease of maintenance. For this reason, we consistently design our AKHET® systems as fully integrated and optimized solutions.
We develop the systems at our headquarters in Freiburg and assemble them at our production facility in Ichtershausen, Thuringia. There, we build custom-configured server and workstation systems that are precisely tailored to the requirements of each specific workload.
“GPU-accelerated applications require more than just powerful hardware. What’s crucial is the optimal interaction of all system components so that customers can benefit from high performance and reliability over the long term,” says Ridel Kougoum, platform architect at Pyramid Computer.
