faytech AG, like Pyramid Computer GmbH, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pyramid AG (stock exchange symbol: M3BK, ISIN: DE000A254W52) and Avionic Design GmbH, which belongs to Lufthansa Technik AG, intend to continue their cooperation in the field of display solutions for aviation.
The collaboration involves the joint development of high-tech (touch) display solutions for digitized aircraft cabins. The completion of the first project opens the door to the growing global aviation market for Pyramid AG, a leading developer and manufacturer of IT solutions for automation and digitalization in retail, finance and industry.
The touchscreens developed and produced by faytech passed the temperature tests in advance as part of the product qualification process. The displays, which were optically transparent bonded by faytech using a special process, not only met the technical requirements without any problems, but also withstood extreme conditions such as freezing cold (-55 °C) and extreme heat (+85 °C).
The first flight with the jointly developed displays is already planned for 2024.
