He Pyramid with Pyramid since 1994. Today, he is at the helm of the company. He has extensive knowledge in almost all areas of Pyramid.
In his previous roles as purchasing manager, CTO, and COO, he has held operational and strategic responsibilities—from technology development and process design to overall management.
This broad experience shapes his leadership style: forward-looking, pragmatic, customer- and growth-oriented.
Ralf Steinemann
Director of Sales & Marketing
Born in 1976
Responsible for Pyramid marketing and sales activities.
For more than 25 years, he has held positions in sales and management at IT companies. As the long-standing CEO of a company specializing in software-based archiving and data storage solutions, he played a key role in shaping its strategic direction and sustainable growth.
His understanding of complex customer and market requirements is based on his extensive knowledge of IT technologies, product marketing, and business development. He has particularly extensive knowledge in the field of software-defined storage.
Ralf's focus is on innovation, high customer satisfaction, and the consistent further development of business models against the backdrop of disruptive technologies such as generative & agentic AI and edge computing & distributed intelligence.
In doing so, he insists on the highest standards of quality, security, and compliance, combining technological excellence with entrepreneurial foresight.
Marco Nieddu
Director of Operations
Born in 1983
Has many years of experience in supply chain management with a focus on production.
Before joining Pyramid Computer , heComputer a management position at a German mechanical engineering group.
Marco works in a customer- and solution-oriented manner. His focus is on efficient, scalable processes along the entire value chain—from procurement to in-house production to delivery.
Quality and delivery reliability are his top priorities. With his structured, practical approach, he ensures that operational excellence and customer satisfaction go hand in hand.

He heads up the commercial areas of human resources, finance, and controlling.
With his keen understanding of people and numbers, he ensures transparency, efficiency, and financial stability in all of the company's processes.
