Pyramid PLS Competence from a single source

The server hub is the heart of the PLS infrastructure.

Kiosk terminals, dispensers and the manual puck registration station (MPRS) are directly connected to the HUB, which manages their information using the most advanced algorithms .

The hub offers a JSON RPC 2.0 based API for seamless integration into your POS.

Developed by Pyramidweb applications (Monitoring and Accessible UI) developed in collaboration with ThinkIn offer extensive remote maintenance and remote control functions for the server hub, dispenser and pucks as well as localization displays for staff.

The antennas are compact and lightweight devices for communication between the pucks and the server hub. Thanks to their discreet design, they blend unobtrusively into the operating environment.

Pucks are issued for notification (PAGING) or localization (LOCALIZATION). Our pucks work with energy-saving Bluetooth Low Energy technology and therefore boast long operating cycles.

"With our PLS, you can determine exactly where your guests are at any time. This minimizes waiting times and brings the service exactly to where it is needed. This increases the satisfaction of your guests, as orders are delivered faster and more precisely. At the same time, you optimize staff deployment as your employees waste less time searching for guests. Our system integrates seamlessly into your existing IT topography and can be flexibly adapted to the circumstances of your business. Investing in such a system not only means an improvement in guest comfort, but also a sustainable increase in turnover thanks to more efficient processes."

PLS technology POLYTOUCH® PASSPORT 32

With one or more kiosk terminals, you can record your customers' food orders, advice requests or service orders without staff contact.

The terminal activates the puck and dispenses it via its internal dispenser.

The POLYTOUCH® PASSPORT 32 is a prime example of a kiosk system that offers its operator a great deal of freedom of choice thanks to its sophisticated technical design:

Various form factors (single and dual display) and mounting options (stand and wall mount) as well as the small footprint guarantee maximum flexibility when positioning the terminal on the surface.

PLS technology External puck dispenser

Do you already have a kiosk terminal from Pyramid? Perhaps a POLYTOUCH® FLEX21.5? With our external puck dispenser (EPD) you can use any POLYTOUCH® kiosk for paging and localization.

The EPD measures 151 mm in width and 600 mm in height. The slim and space-saving system can be mounted on virtually any wall or counter.

It consists of a dispensing unit and a magazine that holds 40 pucks and can be changed during operation.

Your PLS will never run out of pucks, even at peak times.

PLS technology Pucks & BLE

Pucks are issued to guests, customers, patients and visitors for notification or localization.

The hard-wearing pucks from our PLS use Bluetooth Low Energy technology (BLE).

Compared to traditional Bluetooth methods, BLE consumes significantly less power. It therefore conserves the energy reserves of the battery in the puck.

PLS Technology Locator & Angle of Arrival

The compact and lightweight devices come from the market leader Quuppa.

The pucks and the server hub exchange paging and localization data via the locators (antennas).

The PLS uses the AoA (Angle of Arrival) method for real-time positioning. As a result, it achieves unrivaled reliability and precision (between 15 and 25 cm).
