However, research in modern biomedicine is extremely time-consuming and complex - especially in experimental research, which generates enormous amounts of data.
Elaborate screening experiments are required to research such biomedical issues. Karlsruhe-based ACQUIFER AG is a specialist in the development of such platforms. At the heart of this are industrial PCs specially developed for the imaging sector from the Pyramid Computer GmbH.
The IPCs consist of a modular component system that is precisely tailored to its scientific purpose and the model organism to be used. It is used for the transfer, storage and processing of large image data.
For this reason, ACQUIFER placed the highest demands on the hardware to be used and its performance when developing the system.
