A German food discounter has been providing self-service terminals for checkout for several years.

This makes it one of the companies in Germany that recognized and implemented the advantages of SCO technology at an early stage.

Against this backdrop, the discounter has decided to bring further self-checkout systems into its stores with a new supplier.

In order to find a suitable manufacturer for the new terminal generation, the discounter launched a bidding round in which Pyramid Computer successfully participated.

We are proud to have won another major customer from the food retail sector. The stores will be equipped with around 1,000 new kiosk terminals in stages over the next five years.
